Townhill Saturday 15th May at 11am.  Despite a 2 goal lead we let them back in to the game and it went to extra time. They got a third goal and a definate penalty decision not going our way meant we had to forfit the Cup on its Debut Season.  Next year we hope to win the Michael Paddison Community Sheild Cup and bring it back to Brunswick, where it belongs.

Last game against Townhill was a great win 5 - 1. On the score sheet was Ryan James (2), Gazza, James Jones and Lee Davies.

Manager's Update

I am Paul Wheeler, Coach of Brunswick United youth.  I have been involved with the Brunswick club for 25yrs.  The club has really looked after me and is real family club.  Thats why it gives me great pleaseure in producing a youth team, and hopefully they will develop to be one of our future senior sides.

The boys have been so enthusiastic in our short time and i have every confidence that with hard work, good training and match practice they will be ready for the start of next season.  So lets keep up the good work and attitude.  I am very pleased and proud of you all.

I would like to take this oppourtunity to thank Darren and Sharon, who kindly sponsored us, and bought us a full new kit worth £500.  So we will be proud to promote CITY SAVOURIES.  We have also had a second sponsor, who also bought us another kit for around £500.  Not forgetting CAMBRIAN COATING for buying us 3 full substitute "all-in-one" outfits, worth another £120.  So a big thanks from me and all my players, and now its up to me to repay my faith in all of you by producing a Winning young team, of which we will all be very proud of.

UNDER 15'S

Brunswick Utd's future is in good hands with our Under 15's side.  The youngsters newly formed side show promising signs, with quite a few players having the ability to push for a First Team place in the Seniors next year.  They are headed up by Manager Paul Wheeler,  and training is every Saturday at 11am on the Recreation ground, Mumbles Rd. The side is self sufficient, pulling in there own sponsorship for kits, and fees funded entirely by monies collected.  There could be lessons learned here for the Senior sides!
