up to end of season 2004/05
09/04/05 Brunswick's Third team were crowned champions today after they clinched a convincing 4 - 1 win against promotion rivals Swansea Dockers. Goals came from Paul Williams, Mattehew Dowling and two gems from Jon Eames. Congratulations to a team that only started this year, with a mixture of 40 somethings and new youngsters from the Sandfields.
04/04/05 This was going be a tough game at the top, but it was Brunswick that came off winners, with a 3 - 2 win against Gors. With plenty of team players to choose from the third team managers fielded a very strong side, that went 3 nil up by half time. The goals came from newcomer Dan Brown, who looks to be pushing for a second team place next season. But miss of the season surely has to counted today as veteran Smokey surged forward from midfield to find himself on the end of a perfect cross, an open goal, only to convert the ball from six yards out. The second half Gors pushed forward in search of an equaliser but never really troubled a solid Brunswick team.
02/04/05 Brunswick 3 - 0 Bryndeg
31/03/05 Brunswick 0 - 0 Waunarlwydd. This could have easily been three points had it not been for Nick Eames having his penalty saved by the keeper's leg, which cam back out for 1st teamer Craig Davies to sky over the bar!
26/03/05 Brunswick 3 - 0 Coopers Arms.
19/03/05 They looked set to be playing in the final until an injury time goal from Carreg Wen took them into extra time and penalties. Brunswick's Richard Davies scored the first goal in normal time and should have made it two to secure thier place. But when the game went to penalties it was five out of five to Carreg Wen, whereas Brunswick could only manage four, with Andrew Risely's Pen being saved. A disappointing result for the Thirds, when they came so close.
12/03/05 The third team strengthened thier side this week with Mannings and Eames running the midfield, just as they did last week for the second team game. This was three points we definately needed, so pulling off a 2 - 0 win against Gors Inn was just the ticket!
05/03/05 Another 3 points notched up with a 3 - 0 win against Landore
26/02/05 No game
19/02/05 Third team win two weeks running now, with a convincing 3 - 1 victory over Gowerton Juniors.
12/02/05 Brunswick 4 - 0 P T Colts.
05/02/05 Brunswick 0 - 1 Treboth. A dubious off-side decision that was not given by the non-official referee was said to be the cause of this defeat against the bottom side. The third team now need to find thier impressive pre-Christmas form, after four leagues losses, if they are to gain promotion this season.
Dillwyn drop out from reserve division five leaving the teams that have beaten them having the points deducted.
29/01/05 Third team managed to hold on to a 0 - 0 draw with Coopers Arms, by a penalty save by stand-in keeper Nick Eames.
22/01/05 Brunswick 0 - 2 Carreg Wen. After loosing only their second game in their first season, this third team still have their sights set on reserve division four next season.
15/01/05 Great 4 - 1 win against Landore in the Minor Cup, puts them into the Semi-Final against Carreg Wen.
08/01/05 Game against Waunarlwydd postponed due to bad weather
18/12/04 Brunswick 7 - 2 Bonymaen
11/12/04 Brunswick 3 - 0 Treboth
