LAST GAME 30.04.07 Winch Wen 3 Brunswick 1. The score-line flatters our opposition, as we dominated much of the game. They scored within the first 10 minutes which was the only set back of the first half. For the rest of the time we had most of the play and a number of chances. We weren 2-nil down in the second half before Simon Turner scored with a tremendous shot after a corner. Unjustly, we had another goal disallowed for off-side, but by then we were 3-1 down and runing out of time. Although we lost the last three games of the season, the lads should be happy that we played it out with a battle and a bit of pride.
24.04.07 Ragged School 3 Brunswick 2. Despite going 2 nil up, it wasn't enough to see off Ragged as they aim to become the League Winners. Jamie Figures scored within the first 5 minutes, as he neatly tapped in a ball crossed into the box. Shortly afterwards Mark Buckney was brought down in the box and the awarded penalty was put away by Mike Simpson. Ragged kept fighting back and sooner or later got their goals, although none of them were well deserved. We were unlucky not to have come away with some points from this game. One Match left.
21.04.07 South Gower 4 Brunswick 2 .
18.04.07 Penplas 3 Brunswick 3. Mark Buckney raced through the defence to get us the first goal. Penplas went 3-1 up before Michael Simpson headed in our second goal from a throw-in. Then Goal of the match has to go to Craig Davies, who picked up a loose ball on the halfway line, beat four players and then fired home to the back of the net. A great draw and one more point to keep Brunswick in Division One.
31.03.07 Brunswick 2 Mumbles 1. Jason Price got us the first and Ceri Wheeler took advantage of a mix up with the referee to get the second.
28.03.07 Brunswick 3 South Gower 2. Jamie Figures, Simon Turner and Craig Davies on the score sheet.
24.03.07 Brunswick 3 Cwm Press 4. After coming back from 2 nil down i thought we were going to win this one. The first goals from Jamie Figures and then a perfect free kick straight in the net from 20 yards out by Jason Price. We took the lead though Mike Simpson to make it 3-2, but that wasn't enough to finish them off. Cwm Press got back in the game and managed to get a winner minutes from time. The points are desperately needed now to secure First Division football next season.
17.03.07 Brunswick 2 Plough Colts 5 (AET). This was a heartbreaker for the lads, who were leading 2-1 until the last minute of normal time. Jason Price got us off to a great start with his opening goal. Julian Goddard headed home the second goal and that looked like the way it was going to finish. Until a Brunswick corner ended up with Plough breaking away to the other end and scrambling the ball past Paul Wheeler in goals. This took the game into extra time and then our fitness showed. It allowed Plough to run the game as they capitalised on our mistakes. They missed a penalty, but got three others. It was a shocking scoreline at the end of a game that Brunswick thought they had wrapped. There goes the Senior Cup until next season.

27.01.07 Brunswick 1 Winch Wen 2. We put up a terrific fight against a top side. Nathan Bowden put us ahead just before half time. Durind the second half a blatent penalty should have been given to us, and Lee Hartnoll hit the bar with a great strike. But with only 10 mintues remaining Winch Wen stole the game.

09.12.06 Bonymaen 3 Brunswick 3. Despite being 1 nil down after the first minute, we were again unlucky not to have had a win today. Twice coming from behind, our goals came from Lee Chapman (Pen), and Simon Turner from his head. Then to take us into the lead goal keeper Michael Watts's long kick out bounced infront of their keeper and over his outstretched arms, and James Lay was quick to react to make sure it went all the way home. Then with only 4 minutes left, Bonymaen managed to scramble the ball into the net. A sign of the times for a struggling Brunswick squad, meant that Ben Walker and Lee Chapman had already played for the seconds today.
02.12.06 Brunswick 2 St Josephs 2. We were unlucky not to have won this one, when Saints equalised in the last 30 seconds of the game. Man of the Match Lee Hartnoll scored twice (even though one was an own goal).

18.11.06 Moutain Dew 1 Brunswick 3. This was a massive win for us and a great confidence boost to the side. Mark Buckney, Jamie Wheeler and Lee Chapman scored the three goals in 20 minutes to take us into the next round of the Senior Cup.
11.11.06 Brunswick 2 CRC Rangers 4. Craig Davies took us into the lead after 12 minutes, but CRC equalised and took the lead to 2 -1 by half time. CRC's Rob hydle got his hat-trick before we could get our second goal of the match. It was Mark Buckney's cross for Jamie Wheeler to fire home. Jamie Angus was crowned The old Man of the Brunswick side.

21.10.06 Brunswick 0 Penplas 3. We had a few chances, but it could have easily been double that score for the opposition.
14.10.06 Morriston Olympic 5 Brunswick 1. A heavy defeat in the West Wales Cup, with even our goal being an own goal. On a positive note, a great performance from the six youngsters in the side played.

30.09.06 Cwm Press 2 Brunswick 4. A Jamie Wheeler pin point cross found Simon Turner to slot home the first goal within 3 minutes. Only to be equalised 10mins later when Jacob brought down the opposition in the box, with the penalty neatly taken. It was the come back king in midfield Lee Hartnell who set up Simon's second goal, this time on his right foot. Then another penalty was awarded, this time it was our turn, and Lee Chapman made no mistake about it. Jacob Edey made up for his earlier mistake with a near post header, to make it 4-1 before the end of the first half. Press came out looking like a different side after the break, but only managed to pull one goal back. A great entertaining game of footy today, and a result to go our way - into the second round of the senior cup!
23.09.06 Brunswick 1 Gors Inn 6. A bit of a lesson in football for the first team today.
20.09.06 Morriston Olympic 3 Brunswick 1. What a difference a few days made. Some might say we were the better side, but the result speaks volumes. Our only goal came from the penalty spot, calmly taken by none other than Lee Chapman.
16.09.06 Garden Village 1 Brunswick 4. Simon Turner led the way on the goal-scoring stakes, with Mark Buckney making it two. But the victory wasn't sealed until the supersubs came on 20 minutes from the end. Robert Lynn fired home a spectaculer free-kick, and Michael Eames, who had already played earlier for the second team, got us the final goal. A convincing win!

06.09.06 Brunswick 2 Ragged School 4. Despite taking the lead in the first minute through Chris Jose's tap-in, we were 2-1 down half time. The second goal came from a left footed shot from Craig Davies, by this time bringing us back to 3-2. It was a good performance from the new younger members of the side, however a dubious off-side decision not given, allowed the Ragged to get a fourth goal.
02.09.06 Mumbles 0 Brunswick 1. A great start to the new season. The only goal came from player manager Simon Turner.
25.08.06 Charity Shield Match Brunswick 2 St Josephs 1. It was Brunswick that took the lead in the first half, only to give it away at the other end a minute later. Second half Jamie Wheeler's superb finish put Brunswick back in the driving seat, and it could have been three, but for referee dis-allowing the goal for some unknown reason . Saints came close in the last 10 minutes when they hit the post. Overall it was a gutsy win for the first team and a good start to a promising season.
